What is Hamilton Trust?  
Hamilton Trust is an educational charity with one simple aim - to
support teachers in teaching and children in learning. Nationally,
we support teachers by providing quality materials on
the website, in a sustained attempt to reduce teacher workload
and also add to creativity within teaching, under the banner:
Save Our Sundays.
Hamilton Trust consists of six members of staff, one full time and the rest part time.  Ruth Merttens co-directs the Hamilton Projects and is responsible for overseeing the Plans - and writing quite a few! She also writes, or works closely with the authors/ artists of all the other Hamilton resources, many of whom are freelancers from around the country.  Mike O'Regan is the chair of trustees for Hamilton Trust which he set up and funded in 1988. He was a co-founder of RM, and a non-executive director there until May 2004; he now splits his working week between Hamilton Trust and a number of commercial activities. www.hamilton-trust.org.uk |
